Civil Engineering Project Manager
ResponsibilitiesLead a civil design group consisting of engineers, EITs, and drafters.
Replace the current section leader in day-to-day operations.
Own technical delivery across various projects such as roadway, water & wastewater pipeline design, and general site civil projects.
Split focus equally between project management and technical design.
Engage in water design including pipelines, utility infrastructure, and site civil projects tied to DWM work.
Conduct transportation design involving roadway design and county street & infrastructure projects.
Maintain and grow relationships within DeKalb County.
Participate in proposal preparation and support business development pursuits.
Licensed Georgia PE or very close to licensure.
5–10 years of civil engineering experience.
Strong exposure to both water/wastewater and transportation design.
Previous experience as a project manager or lead engineer.
Proficiency in leading a Civil Engineering Design team.
Skilled in Civil 3D and/or Open Roads software.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience in DeKalb County is a plus.
Familiarity with CIP/Consent Decree processes.
Strong CAD/drafting experience.
Knowledge of survey and site civil practices.
This role is based in DeKalb County with a hybrid work schedule allowing for 2 days in the office and the remainder working from home.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucker, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $57.00 – $67.00/hr.
