Your Role & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and enhance automated testing frameworks using Playwright as the primary tool
  • Build and maintain reusable automation components that ensure consistency, scalability, and high code quality
  • Partner with development teams, QA engineers, and product owners to define automation strategy and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis and provide meaningful insights on defects, failures, and quality risks
  • Ensure automation is aligned with modern engineering best practices and supports rapid, reliable deployments
  • Optimize automation execution performance and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency
  • Contribute to documentation, standards, and continuous improvements of the automation ecosystem
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure automation coverage supports business priorities and technical needs
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
  • 10+ years of experience in automation engineering or test automation development
  • Deep, hands‑on expertise with Playwright, including framework creation, setup, configuration, and custom scripting
  • Strong programming experience in languages commonly used with Playwright (e.g., Type Script, JavaScript, or Python)
  • Experience designing scalable, modular automation solutions for web applications
  • Strong understanding of automated testing principles, CI/CD pipelines, quality engineering, and Dev Ops workflows
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced, Agile environments
  • Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills
Bonus Points If You Have
  • Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
  • Experience integrating automation into large‑scale enterprise platforms
  • Background in performance testing, API automation, or test orchestration
  • Exposure to cloud‑based testing environments
Education & Certifications You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Test automation or QA certifications are a plus but not required
