Salary Range: $132,400 per year (based on experience and registration)

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer (PE/GE) to lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through construction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in project management, field exploration, and construction observation, along with a strong ability to collaborate across teams and offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical engineering analyses and field exploration.
- Manage and oversee projects, including budgets, timelines, and client communication.
- Provide construction observation, testing, and reporting.
- Review technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and staff across multiple offices.
- Ensure compliance with regional, state, and federal standards.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hybrid schedule available (in-office and remote work flexibility)
Requirements
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Geotechnical Engineer (GE) license preferred.
- Proven experience in civil/public works or land development project management.
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and project management skills.
- Ability to perform and oversee field investigations, lab testing, and construction observations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be a U.S. resident (no consideration for non-residents or PhD holders).
- California residency strongly preferred due to regional project requirements.
