Technical Sales Manager

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Senior Sales Consultant required for a company who provide sensors and other metrology products to a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Medical and Energy.

The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Senior Sales Consultant will be responsible for meeting clients across the UK and present on new metrology products such as sensors, load cells, transducers and instrumentation.

This is a remote role, covering the UK and the idealSales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Senior Sales Consultantwill be based in locations like Birmingham, Northampton, Cheltenhamor the surrounding areas. The role involves travel to meet with clients frequently to develop relationships and bring exposure to new and current metrology products which include sensors, load cells, transducers and instrumentation.

The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Senior Sales Consultant will ideally have a technical background in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Metrology, and prior experience selling a technical product such as metrology, precision or capital equipment.

Up to £55,000 (£65,000 OTE)

Responsibilities:

• Meet clients across the UK to present on new precision measurement and metrology products such as sensors, load cells, transducers and instrumentation
• Develop new business opportunities in a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Medical and Energy
• Manage a sales pipeline through a CRM system from lead generation to the completion of the sale
• Demonstrate and present how to use technical metrology products and provide solutions to clients
• Regularly communicate with the Internal Sales Team to provide support
• Generate detailed sales reports
• Work from home / remote with expected travel to clients in the UK

Requirements:

• A technical background in a technical background in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Metrology, and prior experience selling a technical product such as metrology, precision or capital equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to meet clients across the UK
