Materials Lab Engineer supports Norsk Titanium's engineering and manufacturing operations by performing metallographic and materials testing, analysis, and documentation. This role plays a key part in ensuring material quality, supporting customer qualifications, and maintaining robust laboratory standards within a regulated manufacturing environment.

• Perform metallographic and materials testing (microscopy, hardness testing, sample preparation)
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Support failure analysis, customer qualifications, and external testing
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and material traceability
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience or academic exposure in materials testing or laboratory environments
• Familiarity with laboratory documentation and quality systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Hands-on, analytical, and collaborative work style
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional manufacturing environment
• U.S. Person status required due to access to export‑controlled technical data (ITAR)
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with reasonable accommodations available
