About the Role:Our esteemed client is pursuing a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the critical position of Offshore Civil Designer (Civil 3D). The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and modelling civil infrastructure for Australian projects, ensuring adherence to Australian standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop civil designs for offshore facilities, including roads, drainage systems, and foundations.
- Utilise Civil 3D software to create detailed 3D models, drawings, and plans.
- Incorporate geospatial data and survey information into design models.
- Perform earthwork calculations and grading analysis.
- Design stormwater management systems, including detention basins and drainage networks.
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Provide technical support during project implementation and construction phases.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of design documents and drawings.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in English and literature.
- Demonstrated experience with Civil 3D software and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of Australian civil engineering standards and regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design, preferably in the offshore industry.
- Knowledge of land development, grading, and drainage principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
