Jacobs, a leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, seeks an experienced Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Lead to manage and optimize digital delivery processes in the Advanced Manufacturing sector. This site‑based role offers the flexibility of a home office within the U.S. and involves leading BIM execution, clash detection, laser scan integration, and mobile field training.

• Provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership, aligning technologies with internal and client goals.

• Define digital delivery scope for project estimates and coordinate project technical setup.

• Create and implement Design and Construction BIM Execution Plans for EPCM; integrate VDC tasks (3D logistics, 4D scheduling, 5D cost and quantity take‑offs).

• Oversee the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud) from design to construction including Docs, Build and Coordination modules.

• Lead clash detection and resolution meetings, serving as BIM Subject Matter Expert.

• Coordinate laser scan data integration and facilitate Scan‑to‑BIM efforts.

• Manage model redline and as‑built processes, verify construction installs with model‑based practices.

• Lead mobile device trainings and reality capture for field employees; provide technology support for software and applications.

• Collaborate with clients, contractors and trade partners on proposals, estimates and quality control.

• Develop training materials, recruit, mentor employees and enhance team expertise.

• Provide daily on‑site presence and coordinate VDC activities with field operations.

• At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Revizto) and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven track record of onsite leadership of VDC activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment both on‑site and virtually.
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.
• Willingness to work on site at a project near Baton Rouge, LA.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
