Job SummaryMazzetti is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Portland, Oregon. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects in the healthcare, higher education, and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various MEP projects in alignment with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee the technical work of project teams and provide guidance to staff.
- Collaborate on electrical designs and coordinate work within the Mazzetti team to successfully deliver projects from conception to execution.
- Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle including participating in client meetings, presenting technical proposals and progress reports, and addressing technical concerns or inquiries
This is a hybrid position involving working from home, client site visits, and being present in our Portland, Oregon office once a week.
Requirements Expertise And Abilities You Will Contribute- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in building electrical systems design (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong project management experience, with the ability to drive projects from conception to completion
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations governing electrical designs
- Experience meeting and consulting with clients to drive successful project outcomes
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to oversee the technical work of other team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Healthcare and hospital design experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as Revit and/or AutoCAD
- PMP Certification
