Network Engineer Why This is an Exciting Role

As a Network Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be supporting the Systems Integration and Test Readiness (SITR) contract doing networking in support of the Test Control System (TCS) and the Range Interface Test, Evaluation, and Sensor Emulator (RTES) system.

Job Duties

Daily tasking is as follows but not limited to:

  • Maintain, configure, and upgrade/troubleshoot a sophisticated network in a test environment as required to support customer missions
    • Including but not limited to IP based audio communications, video distribution, and data storage and transfer
  • Maintain, configure, and upgrade:
    • RSA Secur

      ID integration for multifactor authentication
    • Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
    • Raritan Keyboard Video Monitor (KVM) and Power Distribution Unit (PDU) Infrastructure
    • Virtual hosting environment (Linux KVM based)
  • Net App OnTap working knowledge
  • Engineering duties:
    • Requirements review and analysis
    • Product Research / evaluation / selection
    • Design and documentation activities
      • Build and update drawings using AutoCAD and Visio
      • Engineering release cycle understanding
  • Guiding/Assisting teammates working through technical tasks

Experience and Qualifications

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non‑US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Required Qualifications / Certifications
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have advanced experience in the following:
    • Advanced networking concepts including IP Stack, routing, encryption, and firewalls
    • RSA SecurID
    • Palo Alto PanOS
    • Cisco ISE experience
    • AutoCAD and Visio
Must have the following certifications
  • IAT 2 (Security+ or equivalent)
  • Cisco CCNET (minimum, CCNA preferred)

Summary Pay Range

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$99,000 - $177,000
