Overview
Project Manager - Mission Critical (REMOTE) role at Stantec
. The position focuses on Mission Critical Data Center projects within the Community Development Group. The candidate will work directly with clients to successfully implement and manage project design and construction administration, and will coordinate and lead project teams focused on engineering and construction services for civil site design on private data center projects.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to undertake site development projects related to planning, design and engineering. Client types include private developers, general contractors, and architects.

- Demonstrate a strong interest in the Mission Critical / Data Center market and major commercial projects.

- Be flexible and able to adapt to dynamic project needs on tight timelines and fast-paced schedules.
- Coordinate with teams across geographic regions and perform duties with virtual coordination.
- Understand civil engineering concepts (site layout, grading, utility design, etc.) and effectively communicate ideas to others.
- Manage and lead technical work depending on project scope/size; responsible for large, high-complexity projects.
- Liaise with clients and sub-consultants to ensure needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
- Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and external consultants.
- Review, markup, and coordinate documentation across project phases (site plans, utility plans, grading plans, stormwater, etc.).
- Collaborate in project teams, engage in creative and critical thinking, and contribute to the land development process.
- Assist in sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats; assist with proposal development, interviews, and presentations.
- Market and support client growth across North America.
- Utilize technologies to develop 3D models of civil systems and provide markups for junior engineers/designers.
- Develop and manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule; conduct QA/QC on own projects and peers’ work.
- Assist in developing new standards and processes for the team.
- Strong understanding of all phases of project document production.
- Strong knowledge of civil systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards; ability to lead teams through all project phases.
- Checks the work of others for accuracy and completeness; manages time to meet project budget and schedule.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills; effective communicator capable of leading teams.
- Efficient project management of multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Planning, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience.

Pay Range:
Locations in MN, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas - Min Salary $88,300 - Max Salary $128,000;
Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $97,100 - Max Salary $140,800. Pay transparency:
Pay ranges are provided where required by law; final compensation based on education, qualifications, experience, and location. Some roles may be bonus eligible.
