Electrical Engineering, Railroad, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Overview
In this hands-on role, you’ll be the driving force behind keeping our On-Track Machinery (OTMs) in top condition. From maintenance to repairs, you’ll ensure our equipment runs smoothly and safely – because when it comes to rail, reliability matters.
Responsibilities- Carrying out maintenance and repairs on OTMs to company standards and deadlines
- Diagnosing faults and delivering effective, first-time fixes
- Producing clear reports on faults, repairs, maintenance, and incidents
- Ensuring OTMs are reliable and ready for action after servicing
- Ideally a served recognised apprenticeship in mechanics or a similar field
- Ability to work to timescales and deadlines
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety
- Previous plant or vehicle maintenance experience (desirable, but not essential)
- PTS & DP as required
- Undertake road vehicle driving as required
