Your impact
In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the safety and integrity of Hertfordshire’s highway structures. You’ll lead inspections across a diverse portfolio of assets – from rural culverts to urban viaducts – ensuring they meet safety standards and reporting their condition using digital tools. Your time will be split between planning and carrying out site inspections and report writing, with flexibility to work from home part of the week as part of our hybrid working arrangements.
You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and provided with training if you’re new to bridge inspections. Whether you’re an experienced inspector or come from a related background in civil engineering, surveying or supervision, we’ll help you grow your skills and contribute meaningfully to our mission of delivering smarter, safer infrastructure. A company vehicle will be provided for site work, and occasional overnight stays or travel to other UK locations may be required.
