CAD Technician

A CAD Technician is required to join an established, expanding team. Primarily focused on wireless telecommunications, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing drawings that are compliant with client design guidelines and relevant British standards and regulations.

The successful candidate will need to be local to either our Warwick, Gillingham, West Byfleet or Livingston offices as this is a hybrid role (2 days in the office and 3 days working from home).

• Preparing CAD drawings using AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT.
• Using REVIT to produce BIM models (existing buildings).
• Producing new drawings based on survey information provided by others.
• Amending existing drawings with details of proposed upgrades to existing sites.
• Checking drawings produced by others for compliance with client design requirements.
• Producing standard and template drawings as part of a library of details/drawings.
• Potential attendance at client review meetings to discuss design solutions.

• Experience with CAD software, preferably AutoCAD or similar.
• Previous experience using REVIT/ACC.
• Attention to detail with clear and accurate planning drawings.
• Experience producing designs that accurately reflect engineering solutions.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software, primarily Outlook, Excel and Word.
