BOM Engineer/Analyst Job Description

This position is crucial in both engineering and manufacturing processes. The BOM Engineer/Analyst will be responsible for managing engineering change orders, creating workflows and bills of materials, and ensuring product data quality for manufacturing. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work with Dematic's current database and ERP system.

• Create and maintain material masters and bills of materials.
• Handle the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process by implementing changes into Teamcenter.
• Review and document changes in drawings made by R&D in Teamcenter.
• Ensure product data quality in bills of materials and material masters based on charted drawings and product documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with SAP, PLM, and ERP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and complex manufacturing drawings.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Design, or related fields.
• Experience working with Engineering Change Orders and data management.

• Familiarity with Teamcenter.
• Master data management skills.

This role is primarily on-site, requiring attendance on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The position is part of a small, close-knit team that offers flexibility, including work-from-home opportunities. Typical working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. The company provides access to Udemy for continuous learning and development after six months of employment.

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
