- Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system during air traffic controller training exercises
- Simulate pilot actions and communication based on voice commands from controllers
- Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
- Complete required certifications, including classroom and lab performance as a Remote Pilot Operator
- Support the training and preparation of air traffic controllers to become fully certified
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) is required
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Clear and effective verbal communication skills
- 1 to 4 years of experience as a Remote Pilot Operator
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation lab
- Direct technical and operational air traffic control experience
- Familiarity with FAAO JO 7110.65
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
