We’re looking for a Civil Foundation / Structural Drafter–Designer to join the Asplundh Engineering team. In this role, you will help support critical substation and infrastructure projects that power communities across the country. HowYou Will Make An Impact
- Develop detailed civil and structural drawings for foundations and structural steel.
- Produce accurate, construction‑ready design packages.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure complete and efficient drawing sets.
- Apply and maintain drafting standards, layering conventions, and document control procedures.
- Support the delivery of substation and power infrastructure projects nationwide.
- Associate’s degree in CAD Drafting, Civil Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Bentley Micro Station (preferred).
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD is a plus.
- Ability to produce accurate, high‑quality technical drawings.
- Understanding of industry drafting standards and best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This position offers hybrid or fully remote work options for qualified candidates. Applicants within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA or Newark, DE are preferred. Remote candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones are also encouraged to apply.
