Be part of the Research and Technology team accountable for the deployment of metal additive manufacturing (AM) to produce our engines. As a technical expert in Non‑Destructive Validation (NDV) of AM processes, your expertise will be leveraged to deploy our material, design and quality systems. You will mostly do office work in an extremely interactive environment with direct relationship and full support from world class engineers.

Our team is dynamic, clever and works on high value hard deliverables. Flexible hours are a fact; occasional remote work a possibility.

This is a full‑time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil
, and performed exclusively on‑site.

• Be the expert in Non‑Destructive Validation (NDV) in the design, validation and certification of parts made by additive manufacturing (AM).
• Manage NDV in AM material characterization campaign.
• Develop and deploy in production NDV methods, such as Digital X‑ray and Computed Tomography.
• Collaborate in the writing of AM NDV process specifications.
• Organize and manage VND projects as technology development plans (TDP) following technology readiness level scale (TRL).
• Establish and manage NDV related academia collaboration projects.
• Ensure global VND technology watch.
• Represent the enterprise in corporate co‑joint NDV methods development initiatives.

• Doctorate (PhD) in Engineering, Metallurgy or Material Science.
• Demonstrated expertise in additive manufacturing processes, mainly Powder Bed Fusion‑Laser (PBF‑L) including relationships between raw material, process parameters and metallurgical integrity of consolidated manufactured parts.
• Demonstrated expertise in Computed Tomography, including data capture, computing and analysis.
• Mastering of 3D image reconstruction software, including Comet Dragonfly.
• Functional competency in CAD, mainly with CATIA V5.
• Knowledge of the typical material systems used in aerospace turbine engines, including their manufacturing process and failure modes.
• Industrial experience and demonstrated capacity to integrate technical expertise to a competitive business environment.
• Effective integration capacity in multi‑disciplinary teams from Engineering, Methods and Production.
