VIATechnik is the global leader in Virtual Design and Construction. We have over 400 digital experts around the globe. The firm's services include Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), Building Information Modeling (BIM), Virtual & Augmented Reality, Digital Twins, and Enterprise Software Application Development.
We work on some of the industry's largest and most interesting projects such as Apple's new headquarters, Virgin Hyperloop One, Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) modernization & expansions, Denver International Airport, Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Hudson Yards, the Atlanta Falcons Stadium, Chase Arena, the Tesla Gigafactory and many more. Our team is made up of leading VDC professionals, technologists, architects, and engineers who have a passion for solving problems and a thirst for learning.
We are results-driven, creative solution finders and enjoy putting ourselves in our clients' shoes.
This role is designed for an experienced M&P BIM/VDC professional who excels at owning complex project delivery, coordinating teams, managing risk, and ensuring field-ready outcomes without being responsible for operational staffing or departmental management.
As a Senior VDC Project Manager, you'll lead the execution of BIM/VDC scopes across multiple projects, serving as the primary delivery owner and client-facing lead. You'll work closely with Operations and discipline leads to align staffing and standards, while staying focused on what you do best: driving predictable, high-quality delivery.
This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, hybrid, or in-office, depending on your location and project needs. We're actively hiring across all U.S. time zones.
What's in it For You Purpose - Own Project Delivery Without Ops Drag
You'll be accountable for project success: scope, schedule, quality, and coordination, while being supported by an operations structure that handles staffing, utilization, and org-level management. Your energy goes into delivery, not bureaucracy.
Growth - Senior Influence, Clear Boundaries
This role allows you to deepen your impact as a delivery leader, mentor project-level contributors, and shape how VDC work gets done without pulling you into people ops or resourcing ownership. Growth paths may include Portfolio PM, Program Delivery Lead, or discipline-focused delivery leadership.
Motivators - Clarity, Trust, Accountability
You'll thrive in this role if you're energized by owning end-to-end delivery, building systems and teams, and influencing how VDC is executed across multiple trades. The measure of success here is your impact, not your oversight.
