Contract Senior Systems Engineer – (EW Sensors)

Luton HQ – Onsite position with limited remote working

Up to £67 p/h Inside IR35

A leading Defence prime based in the Bedfordshire area have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Engineer with extensive EW Sensor experience to support the modification, test and certification of Electronic Warfare (EW) Sensor products for our export customers.

This role is ideal for an experienced Systems Engineer who thrives in multidisciplinary environments and is passionate about delivering high-performance, certifiable systems to demanding customer requirements.

• Security cleared currently (SC)
• Extensive experience in requirements generation and management using IBM DOORS
• Understanding of formal testing methodologies to generate certification evidence
• Experience managing engineering change requests from creation through to verification
• Strong knowledge of design compliance and acceptance criteria for system certification
• A solid understanding of systems engineering principles across the full development lifecycle

• Update and manage requirements and acceptance evidence for system variants
• Support system integration, verification and validation activities to demonstrate compliance and gather certification evidence
• Develop and implement engineering change requests to support delivery of new system variants
• Produce and deliver high-quality engineering specifications, reports, and presentations
• Contribute to system-level problem solving across the development life
