Severn Trent is hiring Mechanical Maintainers in the Gloucestershire region.

This is a regional field-based role, where you’ll be based from a site near your home and provided with a company vehicle, mobile, safety gear, and tools.

Hours:

Mon–Thu 7:30–3:30, Fri 7:30–3:00 (flexibility on start and end times can be offered), plus standby will be required

• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, process, energy, or utilities environment
• Strong mechanical fault

This role has a clear, structured development path from Foundation to Skilled and Expert. Salary starts at £40,117
, rising to £43,386 with qualifications and experience, supported through formal training and assessment.

And it doesn’t stop there! Paid training and development form a core part of this role, with a requirement to work toward gaining a recognised second skill.

While electrical qualifications or experience are advantageous, they are not essential, as full upskilling, formal training, and structured competency development will be provided.
