The Procurement Manager will be responsible to lead day‑by‑day activities for >30 suppliers from the Castings category. Majority of suppliers are based in the US delivering to AGCO Factories in Jackson (MN), Hesston (KS), and Beloit (KS), but not only. Considering "one face to the supplier," there are some suppliers under this position responsibility outside the US delivering to other AGCO sites, e.g., France, Germany, Finland, and Brazil.
Direct responsibility of an annual purchasing volume of ~28M USD. This position aims to identify cost reductions opportunities, ensure supplier's good performance (cost, delivery, quality), take the lead to ensure quotations on time + technical discussions + final negotiation for nominations to New Product Introduction projects within purchasing as well as raise/lead the strategy for the 33 suppliers (majority of them US, but 1 in Turkey and 2 in Taiwan) + global sub‑category strategy of raw and machined large Iron Castings parts supported by other >10 team members.
Direct report to Global Category Manager responsible for Castings & Machined components. This position will play a key role in market‑test analysis, cost negotiations, ensuring Long Term Agreements and New Product introduction activities for Castings NA. This role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and ability to work cross‑functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Develop and execute sub‑category sourcing strategies aligned with the overall category plan.
- Reach Cost savings targets by conducting market research and supplier benchmarking (considering “Low‑Cost Country” as per current strategy) to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Identify best sources for part quotation, assuring RFX on time/cost/delivery selecting best supplier for AGCO needs.
- Develop purchase bids for multiple projects while interacting with internal stakeholders (engineering, quality, logistics, manufacturing, etc.).
- Take the lead for Long Term Agreements managing supplier negotiations to achieve cost savings, optimize payment terms, and drive value creation.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred), Business Administration, or related business field; with minimum 5 years of experience.
- Fluent English communication; proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint); strong interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 5 years of negotiation experience in Purchasing, hands‑on and result‑driven approach; experience in Castings category is a plus.
- Strong negotiation ability, good interpersonal skills, and a proactive, results‑oriented mindset.

-2% Year over year (YoY) basis / Payment terms optimization / Achieve new product introduction goals (e.g. should cost / productivity / timing) / Manage the supplier base increasing dual‑sourcing and LCC content NA.
