Step into a role where your technical expertise shapes the future of sustainable construction. As a key member of our regional technical team, you’ll deliver a high-impact service that supports customers within your region while championing our innovative range of ecological building products.
You’ll be the driving force behind creating and sustaining demand for our solutions—building strong relationships with architects, surveyors, contractors, and other key decision makers in your region. Through expert guidance, hands‑on support, and strategic account management, you’ll help our customers determine which products from our range can be used to design and build better, healthier, more energy‑efficient buildings.
This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys solving real‑world technical challenges, actively seeks commercial opportunities, and wants to be at the forefront of ecological product innovation in the UK construction sector.
Location:
Scotland (remote) ideally located central Scotland between Dundee to Ayrshire - but all candidates considered.
- To provide technical advice on our products and support to our customer base of Architects, Surveyors, Builders & Contractors, home owners, etc. This may be verbally over the phone, email, virtually, and/or on‑site training in the form of toolbox talks and general site support.
- Evaluate drawings to optimise thermal performance and air tightness of the building envelope through our product range.
- Provide U-value calculations, condensation risk analysis and other technical calculations (training will be given as and when required).
- To deliver CPD presentations and practical training to our customers.
- Researching and keeping updated on Building Regulations/Legislation/Technical development on areas relating to our product range in conjunction with the technical team.
- Creating and maintaining customer details and projects in our CRM and ensuring that all information is managed and monitored.
- Driving market expansion by actively identifying, qualifying, and advancing new and existing commercial opportunities.
- Collaborating with our sales and marketing teams to ensure customer excellence throughout the whole company.
- Higher education linked to construction (e.g. Engineering, Architecture Technologist, sustainability) Degree level. or
- Relevant experience over many years in the construction industry in practical building project management or commercial building sales, or with hands‑on technical expertise in a time served trade such as joiner or plasterer.
- Willingness to actively travel within your geographical area, and occasionally throughout the UK - Essential.
- Confident in delivering presentations to audiences and good networking skills.
- Proficient in English and IT literate in Microsoft Office.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Construction sector – preferable.
- Active working knowledge of:
Insulation, Air Tightness, Passivhaus principles, project specification with architects, building site visit experience, building regulation knowledge, U value and Dew Point analysis, reading drawings – preferable. - Commercial knowledge (pricing, tender bids for large projects, etc.), proven ability to close off specifications and sales – preferable
- Hands‑on practical skills to deliver training and toolbox talks on‑site. Strong communication skills with the ability to present CPDs and presentations to audiences, and good networking skills - preferable.
