United Infrastructure Transmission & Distribution are recruiting for a Site Engineer to join an Overhead Lines Project (OHL) in Argyll, Scotland. You will focusing onsupporting the team in enabling works phase of the overhead lines sites prior to tower assembly and erection.

As a Site Engineer, you will oversee daily health & safety protocols for staff and subcontractors, report incidents, manage project resources, ensure compliance with safety standards, support the Construction and Project Managers with documentation and reporting, and coordinate effectively with all stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing team at United Infrastructure T&D, this role is site based on long term project based in Argyll supporting our client SSE.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates

  • Manage day-to-day Health & Safety for staff and subcontractors. Report Safety incidents and “near misses” internally and externally
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage Foremen and subcontractors; and assist the Construction Manager in checking staff competencies and training
