• Provide technical oversight and support for customer engagements and architectural discussions
• Produce written proposals and network engineering designs/documentation
• Consult with customers on best practices and integration of the employer's technology into their networks
• Utilize design and modeling tools to model optical network architectures
• Manage and track customer requests while coordinating sales activities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of telecommunications or industry experience
• Engineering or Product Management background required
• Strong understanding of Data Center architectures, routing, switching, and optical transport
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Master’s Degree
• Prior experience in Data Center Operator and Internet Content Provider sales
• Familiarity with cloud architecture and applications deployment in cloud environments
• Experience with sales opportunity tools and quote tools
• Demonstrated ability to manage ongoing activities such as RFPs and product acceptance
