Quantity Surveyor - Water

Project Quantity Surveyor - Respected Utilities contractor

* Leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor

* Newly awarded AMP8 framework, projects in the region until 2030 with possible extension thereafter

* Projects under NEC3 and NEC4 contract forms, valued from £500k - £15m

SSA are currently recruiting for a leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who are looking to add Quantity Surveyor to join their team working as part of their AMP8 South-East Water framework covering schemes across the Kent area.

Duties will include:

* Ensure cost control is maintained throughout all functions (procurement, delivery, design)

* Support the project manager in respect of project and commercial deliverables

* Prepare subcontract tender packages, carry out comparisons and place relevant orders

* Responsible for the management, collation, interpretation and analysis of project commercial records

* Supporting the tender process from cradle to grave

* Production of monthly cost & value forecasting

* Subcontract management

* Production of impact assessments, early warning and risk expenditure

Experience needed:

* Civils/Utilities experience desired - experience with NEC contracts needed

* Qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field (desired)
