About the job

As an Engineering Manager in the product development team, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of engineering excellence, high performance, and collaborative growth. You will help unblock and motivate engineers where possible and grow the teams sustainably by hiring, training, and retaining the best people.

Our engineering team consists of three application teams, and three cross-departmental teams:
Design, Platform Engineering, and Quality Engineering - and you will be leading two of them.

While this role is not a hands-on engineering role, a deep understanding of technology is required to shape the team further and be heavily involved in coaching and architecture development and making sure we deliver on our commitments. You'll be part of the Engineering management team, and play a crucial role in driving our product forward.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and guide the teams in your domain(s).
• Build, develop, and retain high-performing teams. This includes recruitment, coaching and helping people in your team to excel.
• Promote and build upon our great engineering culture that your team members thrive in.
• Ensure continuous improvement of the engineering workflows.
• Encourage active collaboration between engineers, designers, and the product team to ensure we build the best Ad Scaling platform.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the product architecture and technologies and help your teams develop it further.

Besides being fun to work with, you have:

• 2+ years of experience as a Lead and/or Engineering Manager of at least 5 engineers.
• A technical background with extensive experience as a software engineer, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Endless drive to help people grow and provide new opportunities to learn.
• Lead from the front and be ready to roll up your sleeves to help your team in any way.
• Care deeply about the product you are building and the team building it.
• Don't shy away from a challenge.
• Are a team player.
