Your new role
As our new Senior Water Treatment Consultant (m/f/d), you will have the opportunity to use your skills on projects across Europe and beyond. You will work on water, wastewater and asset management projects within the Netherlands and across Europe. You will also work with others to target and acquire new business from industrial and municipal customers.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Identifying leads and opportunities in collaboration with other business units
- Winning and delivering water treatment projects, working closely with clients, sub-contractors and internal stakeholders
- Providing technical expertise into asset management, strategy and design projects for water sector and industrial clients
- Integrating with the global water sector teams for business development, pursuits, and project execution
- Contributing to global thought leadership and marketing plans
Your new team
You will be part of our Global Advanced Water Treatment, that works with leading utilities and industries worldwide. Current projects include the development of a new full-scale demonstration plant for drinking water production in the Netherlands, a large-scale wastewater recycling plant in Belgium, and a new potable supply for an industrial customer in Singapore. We work with technology providers and universities to stay at the leading edge, with a strong reputation for technical excellence.
The Ramboll Netherlands office is located in Delft, but our teams generally work from home or from client sites. We are highly networked within the Ramboll organization, collaborating closely with colleagues working on areas such as the energy transition, micropollutant removal and circularity.
About you

These include:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering
- 10+ years experience in engineering consulting within the water sector
- Demonstrated experience with advanced water/wastewater treatment technologies
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
- Track record of working successfully with the Dutch water sector
