Our client is seeking a driven and hands‑on (Senior) Lead Engineer Civil Structural Architectural to take a leading role in a broad range of engineering projects. In this versatile position, you’ll be deeply involved in all CSA‑related aspects, from initial client contact through to project delivery. You will typically manage multiple projects—large and small—either sequentially or simultaneously, across a wide variety of industrial sectors.

As Lead Engineer, you will contribute both strategically and technically, taking the lead in multidisciplinary 3D design environments. You’ll collaborate closely with specialists and other technical disciplines and oversee a team of engineers and designers. You’ll also support your team where needed and remain actively involved in the content of your projects.

Key responsibilities include setting up planning, budgets, proposals, and scopes of work. You’ll distribute tasks within your team, ensure quality assurance on calculations and designs (steel and concrete), and translate client needs into efficient, safe, and sustainable engineering solutions. Client and supplier relationships will be under your care throughout the lifecycle of each project.

You’ll work on impactful projects within the industrial and energy markets, often aligned with themes such as emissions reduction, energy efficiency, and safe installations. • At least 10 years of relevant engineering experience, including 5+ years in a Lead Engineer role or equivalent senior position in CSA
• Solid leadership experience in guiding teams either hierarchically or on a project basis
• Strong background in civil and structural design (steel and concrete), including calculations
• Familiarity with engineering and construction methodologies and field procedures
• Proven experience with proposals, estimates, and scope of work planning
• Involved in onshore mono‑ and multidisciplinary industrial projects (e.g., oil & gas, storage)
• Bachelor’s degree (HBO/HTS) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Infrastructure
• Skilled in AutoCAD Viewer, Navisworks Simulate, and MS Office; SCIA and MS Projects experience is a plus
• Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
