They are now seeking an ambitious and commercially aware Chartered Temporary Works Design Engineer to join their growing team.

• Exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects across London and the South East
• Opportunity to mentor junior engineers and play a key role in a successful and growing consultancy
• Competitive salary (D.O.E) with annual bonus and regular working from home if desired

• Deliver hands on temporary works design across multiple concurrent projects, managing the full project lifecycle including technical design, commercials and client liaison
• Undertake Third Party Design Checks and provide consultancy across basement construction, party wall matters, buildability, sequencing and planning
• Design and review a wide range of temporary works solutions including crane foundations, demolition consultancy, façade retention, falsework, formwork, propping, shoring, jacking, scaffolding, marine works and structural alterations

• BEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering and Chartered (or near) membership of ICE or IStructE
• Post graduate years experience in temporary works design with strong geotechnical knowledge and understanding of construction techniques
• Excellent communication skills, ambition to succeed and the ability to manage multiple projects independently
