Storage Engineer

Overview

Seeking a highly skilled IT professional with deep expertise in Rubrik backup and recovery systems, including advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with VMware administration, particularly in tasks such as host patching and maintenance. Proficiency in managing IBM storage solutions across SAN and NAS environments is essential. Additionally, knowledge of VAST Data architecture and operations is desirable, as the role involves working within a complex, enterprise‑scale data infrastructure.

The position is remote; however, candidates must be in Ohio to convert to FTE in order to take advantage of the retirement plan.

Knowledge about VAST Data would be a plus. Server virtualization experience in VMware and Hyper‑V design and/or implementation (minimally utilizing IBM or EMC storage and Brocade switches) and implementation with Microsoft and/or Linux servers. Experience with the Office 365 suite.

Intermediate Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

Pay range: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour.
