My client is a long-established, people-focused property and construction consultancy delivering integrated design and technical expertise across a broad range of sectors including commercial, education, defence, residential and infrastructure.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will provide a professional civil engineering service to internal teams and external clients, primarily across defence, secure infrastructure and aviation sectors.
In this Senior Civil Engineer role, you will:
Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams within process-driven environments
Prepare and oversee technical design packages from concept through to completion
Deliver practical, compliant and cost-effective civil engineering solutions
Contribute to the commercial and technical success of projects
Ensure projects are delivered to programme, within budget and to a high professional standard
Maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
Support the promotion and growth of civil engineering services
Monitor financial targets and contribute to achieving project performance objectives
Assist in the preparation of fee proposals and support bids for new work
Maintain accurate project and fee records
Due to the nature of the projects, you will need to hold active UK Security Check (SC) clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
What you will bring
To succeed as a Senior Civil Engineer, you will have:
Post-qualification experience across a broad range of civil engineering activities
Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
A clear understanding of working within secure, regulated or process-led environments (desirable)
Experience working with public and private sector clients
Strong knowledge of building construction, Building Regulations and associated legislation
A relevant degree in Civil Engineering
Chartered status or be working towards Chartership
A professional, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
