POWER is growing and we are looking for a talented Substation Engineer - Protection & Controls to join our team. In this role, you'll be a key technical contributor, working closely with project engineers, designers, and clients to deliver industry-leading substation projects. • Partner with P&C Designers/Drafters to develop protection & control drawings and documentation
• Collaborate with internal and external project teams across multiple disciplines
• Provide technical support for procurement and construction
• Engage with clients, building strong relationships and delivering on project needs
• Develop key deliverables such as:
  • One-line & three-line diagrams
  • Control, alarm, and communication schematics
  • Panel front views, wiring diagrams, and control house layouts
  • Equipment and P&C specifications
  • Bills of material, I/O mapping, relay settings, and design calculations
• Perform engineering calculations including:
  • DC battery & charger sizing
  • AC/DC system analysis & station service sizing
  • Overcurrent protection, voltage drop, CT/VT sizing
  • Short-circuit & arc flash analysis (preferred)

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of substation engineering experience (more experience welcome)
• Strong foundation in protection & control design and analysis
• PE license not required, but pursuing licensure is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and client focus
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client site visits
