When in the office, the job can be performed from any of Benesch’s Wisconsin regional locations, including Madison, Milwaukee, or Neenah.[/p] [h3]Key Responsibilities[/h3]
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish survey requirements and conduct surveys in line with standards and contract specifications.
- Perform field data collection and staking activities, prepare survey drawings, and assist with boundary monument searches.
- Research records, perform calculations, and analyze measurements for property locations and legal descriptions.
- Oversee final plat preparation, provide progress, budget, and technical updates, and ensure quality control of survey‑related project correspondence.
- Communicate field issues to the Project Manager, document out‑of‑scope work, and participate in contract negotiations.
- PLS certification in the State of Wisconsin.
- Associate degree or higher in Survey & Geomatics, Survey Technology, or related program (HS diploma or GED required).
- 10+ years of experience drafting plats and performing boundary calculations.
- Experience processing survey data and completing plats in a WisDOT environment (Civil3D).
- Strong ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly within diverse project teams.
- Effective communication skills with project leaders and clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail in maintaining clear and concise project records and files.
