Outside Plant Engineer – Legal Mandate & Road Moves

Job Summary:

UNDC is seeking an experienced Legal Mandate OSP engineer familiar with road improvement plans, conflict analysis, and submission of work plans to WISDOT and Wisconsin Municipalities. Prior telecom conflict work in Wisconsin, experience with AT&T outside plant facilities, and familiarity with AT&T records systems are preferred.

This is a full-time, home-based position requiring a distraction-free work environment and the ability to manage a daily schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Configuring a home office for productivity with minimal interruptions.
• Ensuring reliable high-speed internet and cellular service.
• Maintaining safe working habits according to regulations and policies.
• Working Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility for extended hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze road improvement plans for conflicts with AT&T facilities.
• Read cross sections and plan/profile sheets related to utility structures.
• Prepare WISDOT forms for work plans or conflict analysis requests.
• Attend weekly project status calls.
• Complete redline designs to relocate telecom facilities after approval.
