About the RoleAs an Asbestos Building Inspector, you will deliver top-tier environmental inspection services while adhering strictly to all applicable regulatory standards. This role focuses primarily on conducting asbestos testing in single-family homes throughout the Greater Las Vegas area.
This is a field-based, home-office role offering strong work-life balance, with daytime weekday hours and the opportunity for future growth, including potential remote work, participation in expansion planning, and advancement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct asbestos site inspections in compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols
- Collect and handle samples according to certification and safety requirements
- Ensure timely delivery of samples to the laboratory
- Coordinate with internal staff to schedule and route new inspection jobs efficiently
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, samples, and reporting documentation
- Represent The Testing Agency professionally during all field activities and client interactions
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in environmental inspections
- Current Nevada Asbestos Building Inspector license required
- EPA Lead Certification preferred but not required
- Must be certified to pull asbestos samples in Nevada and able to deliver samples to the laboratory
- Valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, and mobile phone required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Positive, can-do attitude with reliable communication and professional conduct
- Availability to work as a subcontractor on a per-job basis, as needed
