The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of progressive experience in site development and civil design, along with a proven track record of successfully managing projects, clients, and teams. This hybrid position offers a flexible work environment, allowing for a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of engineers and technical professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management to ensure team growth and project success
- Manage the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery across all phases
- Serve as a key client contact, ensuring satisfaction while identifying opportunities for new business and supporting proposal development
- Guide and review design work related to zoning analysis, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, wetlands, erosion control, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with the Department Manager to manage budgets, allocate resources, track performance, and contribute to overall group and company success
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
- 15+ years of experience in site development, land use engineering, and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and stormwater modeling software
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams
