Activities🔥 What You Will Lead & AchieveRegional Leadership
- Serve as the regional HSE authority, guiding all project teams through compliance, risk mitigation, and safety best practices.
- Support the Head of HSE in implementing company wide H3SE programs, policies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and refine H3SE procedures and templates aligned with federal and state requirements (OSHA, CAL/OSHA, etc.).
- Prepare and maintain safety guidelines and documentation in compliance with ONE MAESTRO requirements.
- Review and validate HSE documents such as HSE Plans, JSAs, and risk assessments.
- Attend project and contractor meetings to provide expert HSE guidance.
- Advise on high‑risk activities including lifting operations, electrical work, working at height, confined space entry, hot work, and heavy equipment operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance and identify risks early.
- Promote Total Energies safety culture principles, including the 12 Golden Rules, Life Saving Checks, Safety Green Light, and Our Lifes First.
- Lead HSE promotion events such as World Day for Safety & Environment.
- Support HSE training for employees, contractors, and site teams.
- Ensure contractors meet all HSE qualification standards, leveraging ISNetworld where applicable.
- Partner with Procurement to monitor contractor HSE performance throughout project cycles.
- Engage with regulators, customers, community groups, and internal stakeholders to maintain compliance and transparency.
- Assist in incident investigations and support root‑cause analysis.
- Track and report all relevant H3SE data.
- Support environmental compliance and mitigation measures during construction and O&M phases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Level
6) or equivalent - 5+ years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction or operations/maintenance
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction and general industry standards
- Familiarity with Total Energies HSE rules (a strong asset)
- Regulatory compliance (OSHA, environmental law)
- Risk assessment & hazard analysis
- Safety Management Systems

- Emergency response and crisis management
- Required
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
- OSHA 30‑Hour Construction
- NFPA 70E
- Preferred
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
