Contracts Manager – Mechanical Building Services (HVAC)
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical building services contractor delivering high-quality HVAC solutions to commercial and industrial clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage projects from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple HVAC contracts from inception to completion
* Plan, execute, and deliver projects in line with client expectations
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies
* Control project budgets, programmes, and resources to ensure profitability and timely delivery
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships
* Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and performance
* Lead, mentor, and manage project teams
* Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and risk assessments
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within mechanical building services (HVAC)
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical project delivery
* Solid understanding of health & safety and industry standards
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
* Proficient with project management tools and software
* Minimum 3 years’ Contracts Management experience (required)
* HVAC / Mechanical Building Services experience (preferred)
* HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)
* SMSTS or IOSH certification (preferred)
* Full UK Driving Licence
