Role Overview

An experienced Electrical Design Engineer is required to support a portfolio of TfL infrastructure projects, primarily focused on ticket hall lighting and smaller electrical works across stations and depots.

This is a contract role suited to a hands-on designer with strong experience in building services electrical design within live transport environments.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical design delivery for TfL station and depot projects
Ticket hall and general station lighting design
Small-to-medium electrical packages within operational environments
Coordination with internal design teams and stakeholders
Production of electrical design documentation and drawings
Involvement with CMS/control management systems (desirable)

Key Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within building services
Previous TfL / rail/transport infrastructure experience is highly desirable
Strong lighting design background
Familiarity with CMS/control management systems is advantageous
Comfortable working on multiple small electrical projects simultaneously
Able to work predominantly office-based initially

Working Arrangement

5 days per week, office-based in Woolwich initially
Flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week once trust is established
