THE SITE AGENT ROLE

Major projects come few and far between, highways development has slumped in the last couple of years but this project is a critical part of the black country highway network. The Site Agent will come in at the ECI phase quickly developing into main build works. The project is a multi-year project and will provide relief to several A-roads, its a busy junction with a value in excess of £30

Million, but its a project you can look back on and know you've made a massive contribution to the area. Experience in similar projects is desirable here, you'll come from a background of delivering projects with many moving parts. What you'll be rewarded with is progression opportunities from day 1, a valued client of PSR and one with incredibly low staff turnover with a large local order book so you know you'll be making a solid career move.

THE ROLE S AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SITE AGENT

Programme development
Site setup
Manage contractor and subcontractor relationships
Overseeing HSEQ and management of along with team
Follows QA procedures
Makes sure Temp Works Register is in place and updated
Notifies issues on-site of any programme, contractural or commercial issues with relevent teams.
Drives the pace of the project and plans the work in the field
Coordinates and priorities the sequence of activities on site
Manages a team of foremen and other site staff

THE RIGHT SITE AGENT WILL BE THE FOLLOWING

Have strong people management skills
Experience in civil engineering works
Experience in the management of subcontractors
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience working on highways developments (high speed and local authority is desirable)
