We are looking for a VMware Architect - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Cary, NC

• Job Title: VMware Architect - Remote / Telecommute
• Job Location: Cary, NC
• Job Type: Contract

• Design a VCF 9-based modern private cloud in accordance with customer technical and business requirements.
• This includes virtual compute, network, storage, automation, and operations platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop additional service offerings for the catalog to better address business needs and provide a more public cloud-like experience for users.
• Conduct a tool rationalization investigation to simplify operations, eliminate redundancy, and identify opportunities for integration among existing tools to drive efficiencies.
• Recommended VMware security standards/hardening configuration for VCF.
• Strong knowledge of Automation and knows how to do some level of custom integrations, and has worked with the SNOW integration.
• Knowledge of VCF Automation, not just vRealize Automation 8.
• If they know VCF Automation, they will know All Apps vs VM Apps (using Supervisor cluster).
• Ensure that all VMs are managed through VCF Automation to ensure governed access to vSphere, improve security, and facilitate the ability to provide automated Day 2 services for users.
