Highway Engineering Associate I

RS&H is seeking a civil highway engineering associate to join our highway team. This hybrid role combines in‑office and remote work to support infrastructure projects across the country.

• Compile data and assist with report preparation.
• Complete elementary design calculations.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Perform basic design tasks using engineering software.
• Prepare drawings and visual aids.
• Conduct as‑needed field reviews to gain hands‑on understanding of design applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Basic knowledge of production software.
• Passion for engineering and a willingness to grow and learn.
• Solid oral and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with clients, customers, team members, and stakeholders.
