Description
Telecommunications Analyst 3 — Provides technical assistance in support and preparation of telecom technologies, primarily focused on telecommunications infrastructure management, deployment, and maintenance. Requires working knowledge of networking, mobile, desk phones, and desktop technologies including desktop applications, smart phones (iOS), VoIP, and PBX telecom systems. This is a 2-year contract with the possibility for extension. Duration details and travel expectations are described below.

This position is based in Madison, WI, with in-state day travel and occasional long hours. It is a hybrid role with remote work and office visits as needed. Applicants must reside within the State of Wisconsin.

• Support and installation of telephones, cellphones, video conferencing solutions, and related telecommunications infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Cisco infrastructure and endpoints, Mitel VoIP PBX and ACD, Air Watch, Apple Business Manager, and video conferencing accounts.
• Provide mobile device support and management; assist with telecommunication concepts such as SIP, H.323 and other VoIP technologies.
• Collaborate with business partners and team members to deliver telecom services; document configurations and procedures; troubleshoot complex problems and determine solutions.
• Travel as needed within-state; no overnight travel; travel expenses reimbursed per state guidelines.

• 2 – 5 years of experience in telecommunications or related field.
• Working knowledge of telecommunications concepts (SIP, H.323, VoIP) and networking concepts.
• Experience with Cisco phones and infrastructure; video conferencing infrastructure and endpoints management; unified communications systems (Webex, PBX, ACD).
• Mobile device support and management; familiarity with Air Watch and Apple Business Manager; experience with Telecom and video collaboration tools.

• Cisco, Mitel, Zoom, Air Watch, Apple Business Manager, Microsoft.

• Ability to work independently and in a team; meet deadlines; be punctual.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities; effective communication and customer service skills.

• Location:
  
  Contract position based out of Madison, WI; hybrid work arrangement.
• Pay: $30.00 – $32.00/hr; eligibility for benefits per policy; benefits may vary by classification.
