Electrical Quality Assurance Representative – Data Center Construction

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Electrical Quality Assurance Representative to support large‑scale data center construction projects for a prominent technology client. The role serves as the owners’ representative, ensuring that electrical and mechanical systems are installed and tested in compliance with project drawings, specifications, and quality program requirements.

• This is a hybrid role; remote work is expected when not on site. Candidate must be willing to travel to project sites across the US. Anticipated travel frequency is 50–75% of the time.
• Ensure compliance with the client’s quality program and project‑specific drawings and specifications through routine inspections of electrical and mechanical components and systems.
• Use an electronic field device and associated software to communicate and track inspection results and note deficiencies throughout construction and early commissioning.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports summarizing inspections performed and their results.
• Track documented inspection issues and follow them through to resolution.
• Identify installation trends, conduct root‑cause analysis, and recommend process improvements.
• Attend weekly team calls and client meetings as needed.
• Support creation of checklists for tasks performed and additional project‑related documentation.

• 5–7+ years of electrical, construction, or quality assurance experience, with 2+ years in complex, mission‑critical facilities (data center, hospital, or large‑scale construction).
• Requisite knowledge and application of electrical and building codes.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems—means, methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Thorough understanding of electrical engineering concepts and ability to communicate ideas effectively.
• Field construction experience.
• Collaboration in cross‑functional, high‑tech environments.
• Experience in data center construction is advantageous.
• Project Management (or PMP) certification and a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Physical ability to walk distances on uneven sites, climb small ladders, and work in an active construction environment.

The full‑time role offers a base salary range of $155,000–$170,000 per year. The range reflects base salary only and may vary based on experience and qualifications.
