About the Role

We are hiring a Remote Estimating & Pricing Analyst (REPA) to support live commercial construction bids for a U.S.

-based General Contracting firm. This is a permanent team role, not freelance or per-job estimating. You will support real bids with real deadlines, working inside a defined bid engine alongside Pre-construction Operations and Company leadership. Your work directly supports pricing decisions and competitive submissions. Accuracy, responsiveness, and scope discipline matter — and wins matter.

• Quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
• Pricing support using Company estimating templates
• Internal subcontractor quote leveling (scope, exclusions, gaps, risks)
• Addendum impact identification and documentation
• Scope coverage checklists and gap flags
• Clean estimating hand-off packages for internal review

• You operate in the Estimating & Pricing Support lane
• Pre-construction Operations controls: bid calendars, subcontractor outreach strategy, compliance assembly, final submission
• You may work on up to three (3) active bids at a time (additional assignments require written approval)
• External portal communication is not permitted unless explicitly delegated in writing for a specific project

You ARE authorized to:

• Perform takeoffs and populate estimate workbooks
• Level subcontractor quotes internally
• Document exclusions, missing scope, and risk flags
• Capture addenda impacts
• Escalate unclear documents, missing scope, or conflicts immediately

You are NOT authorized to:

• Decide bid/no‑bid
• Set final pricing, margins, or contingencies
• Negotiate with subcontractors or owners
• Submit bids or bind the Company in any way

• Review-ready estimate workbook
• Takeoff backup documentation
• Quote log + received proposals
• Quote leveling summary
• Scope coverage checklist
• Addenda impact notes
• Internal assumptions / clarifications draft

• Houzz Pro (tasks, deadlines, assignments)
• Building Connected and other bid portals (as permitted)
• Bluebeam or approved takeoff tools
• Excel-based estimating templates
• Company file structure and naming standards

• On-time delivery to internal deadlines
• Accuracy and rework rate
• Missed-scope prevention
• Addenda capture accuracy
• Quote leveling completeness
• File discipline and documentation quality
