Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead and manage multi-discipline designs for public and private site development projects. The role involves overseeing all project aspects from conceptual planning through to detailed design, construction documentation, and permitting.

• Prepare civil/site engineering designs and plans for jurisdictional approval and permitting.
• Collaborate with designers and other Project Managers to ensure project completion.
• Complete tasks and assignments within specified time frames and budgets.
• Apply knowledge of design standards to develop engineering solutions.
• Document solutions systematically and communicate them effectively to the design team.
• Ensure project development meets budget constraints and design criteria.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Attend client meetings and provide updates on project status.
• Mentor less experienced staff to foster their professional growth.

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• 6 to 15 years of related experience in civil engineering.
• At least 4 years of project management experience.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and civil design.

• Experience in water resources engineering and stormwater management design and permitting.
• Strong client relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring less experienced staff.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with time divided between working from home and at the local office in Raleigh, near the PNC Arena. This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC.

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

This is a hybrid position in Raleigh, NC.
