Location:
Yarmouth, ME
Located 15 minutes north of Portland, ME, our office is overlooking the Royal River. A peaceful and beautiful view to inspire you creatively.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct hydraulic studies for bridge and culvert projects, including river, stream, and floodplain crossings
- Perform detailed scour analyses for new and existing bridge structures and recommend appropriate scour protection measures
- Utilize hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SRH-2D) and GIS-based project mapping tools for project analysis and design
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, maps, and documentation for regulatory submittals and project records
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, including structural engineers, environmental scientists, and construction staff
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and compliance
Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in civil or environmental engineering, or related field
- PE Licensure
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Exceptional oral/ written communication skills
- Salary is contingent on experience
