Sr Nuclear Quality Assurance Engineer

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Nuclear Quality Assurance Senior Auditor to support the implementation of the SHINE ANSI/ANS 15.8 QA Program. This hybrid position allows working from home while maintaining a presence at the Janesville office.

Senior Nuclear Quality Assurance Engineer responsibilities include:

• Lead or participate in internal and external (vendor) audits and surveillances, including scheduling, planning, execution and reporting.
• Maintain and evaluate audits, assessments, surveys and accreditations conducted by external agencies.
• Maintain the approved supplier list.
• Support the Diagnostics division in developing and revising Quality Assurance Program implementing procedures.
• Develop quality requirements in procurement documents.
• Work closely with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Licensing, and Operations teams to identify and implement quality‑related activities.
• Obtain and maintain lead auditor status.
• Participate in industry‑led and regulator‑led activities related to nuclear quality assurance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, scientific discipline or related field, or equivalent experience such as a Senior Reactor Operator License or the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
• Minimum of 5 years of nuclear quality assurance experience.
• Current or previous Audit Team Leader (ATL) Certification.
• Working knowledge of ANSI/ANS-15.8 and/or ASME NQA-1 quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel to vendor facilities (domestic and international) and ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, with regulators, contractors and suppliers.

Base salary range: $100,000 - $115,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package.
