Eaton's ES AMER ESS division seeks a Senior Construction Manager responsible for the on‑site implementation of project deliverables, maintaining project safety, schedule, budget, design accuracy, and QA/CC control. The role also supports the Sales Force and Project Manager during front‑end estimating that carries through to construction. This is a fully remote position that requires 75% travel.

Expected annual salary range $93,750 - $137,500.

Provide construction management expertise in electrical, civil, structural, mechanical aspects of large turnkey construction projects. Support design teams, engineers, project managers, and contractors.

• Contract and subcontract knowledge and experience.
• Managing project scope changes.
• Creating, prioritizing, and maintaining project action item lists.
• Understanding turnkey projects.
• Developing and maintaining construction schedules.
• Working with design teams to create cost‑effective designs.
• Improving contractor efficiencies.
• Managing contractor budgets.
• Managing safe work environment program (job site safety analysis, rigging plans, environmental risk planning, job audits, confined space programs, lock and tag procedures).
• Construction estimating.
• Creating and maintaining project QA/QC process.
• Learning new technologies around microgrids and advanced power systems applications.
• Contingency planning expertise.
• Supporting multiple projects.
• Maintaining accurate as‑built documentation and punch‑lists.
• Maintaining daily/weekly progress reports.
• Managing subcontractor AIA forms.
• Document control experience and expertise.
• Managing and executing large scale construction projects with multiple trades.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in civil, structural, mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited institution with minimum ten (10) years of turnkey/construction experience; OR
• AS in civil, structural, mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited institution with minimum twelve (12) years of turnkey/construction experience; OR
• In lieu of degree, minimum fifteen (15) years of turnkey/construction experience and journeyman certification preferred.
• Must be located in either KY, TN, NC, SC, GA, or FL to be considered, no relocation offered for this position.

• Strong computer and organizational skills.
• Strong customer affinity and ability to build relationships.
• Field construction experience.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently within a team environment.
• Working knowledge of NERC/FERC, NESC, NEC, ANSI, NETA.
• PMP certified and/or professional engineer qualification.
• Experience with Primavera Scheduling Software or Microsoft Project.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• First and CPR trained.
