Water Hygiene Engineer

Geopure specialises in water hygiene and risk management services, focusing on ensuring safe and compliant water systems for our clients. Services include plumbing remedials, water system monitoring, tank cleaning, and risk assessments to mitigate dangers posed by hazardous microorganisms, such as legionella. We provide tailored solutions for a wide array of premises, including laboratories, care homes, nurseries, hotels, factories, and more.

Our work adheres strictly to health and safety regulations, including HSE L8 Approved Code of Practice and relevant Health and Technical Memorandums, ensuring unrivaled service quality and compliance.

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Water Hygiene Engineer, based in Northern Ireland and a few days a month in and around Dublin with the option for some remote work in England / Scotland. The role involves conducting site visits to perform plumbing remedials, water system disinfections, maintenance, risk assessments, and monitoring services according to regulatory standards. The responsibilities include providing clients with detailed service reports.

Collaboration with clients to ensure optimal water hygiene practices and compliance will be essential.

• Experience in water system maintenance, and hygiene management
• Proficiency in performing risk assessments and knowledge of regulatory standards like HSE L8 ACOP
• Skills in water testing, sampling, and associated reporting
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Full UK driving license
• C&G or BOHS P901 qualification in Water Hygiene is essential, additional plumbing qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience in water hygiene services or water treatment is essential as you will need to start right away.
